Two Rabbits

Like always one rabbit was being chased and other was the chaser. Initially , the distance between the two rabbits was pretty small. The chaser was about to suceed but suddenly the the chasee sped up and made a safe distance then she stopped. Her eyes tilted a bit, only a bit so that the chaser couldn't noticed it. Then she started breathing heavily as if she was tired. Then the chaser rabbit restarted towards and almost reached her but he had to be dissappointed. As soon as he reached her, she regained her breaths and sped up again and again made an appropriate distance. Then he and she both stopped, one with disappointment and other was again out of breath. The distance between them oscillate several times. Then the chaser rabbit ran and stopped but this time he maintained some distance. The lady could still see him. Then he increased his distance with her gradually. Finally the distance bezween them was long enough and the lady couldn't see the he-rabbit anymore. Then she turned, looked around for a while and she simply proceeded. But our clever chaser rabbit had not given up. He took another pathway and suddenly appaered infront of her. The sudden change of the situation left nothing to be done and he grabbed her but superisingly she didn't resist. I don't belive that she was already tired enough to resist. The question is why she didn't resist. what was her purpose in letting him wait so long and letting him put so much efforts. May be kamlesh know the answers ;).
